On Saturday February 29th at 9:00 am, construction of the initial two raised beds in the Community Garden will begin. All are invited to participate. We will build the bed boxes, fill them with a mix of black topsoil and compost and lay the mulched borders and pathways. Please join us! No experience necessary!
Also, On Wednesday March 4th at 4:00 pm, members of the Community Garden Group will meet before the Lenten Supper and Vesper Service, to plan our 2020 spring, summer and fall/winter vegetable plantings. Our planting guide will be a survey of ECCO food pantry clients conducted in 2019 at the East Cooper Community Outreach Client Choice Wellness Pantry, our community partner who will distribute the produce from the All Saints Community Garden. All are welcome to join us on March 4th to help plan the 2020 Community Garden!
The All Saints Community Garden effort is led by four Teams, each devoted to a specific focus and co-led by members of the Community Garden Group (Jim and Carolyn Brueggemann, Coordinators). We invite you to join us!
