Feeding the Homeless–July

July 17, 4-6 pm

Hot Dog Ministry is a daily feeding ministry for the homeless community in downtown Charleston. All Saints has been participating in this ministry in an increasing capacity through the success of the 2019 ALL IN appeal. All Saints has the opportunity to prepare and serve meals several times throughout the year. At this time, these to-go meals are served outdoors and socially-distanced for the safety of all. We will have at least one Service Team member at each event to provide guidance. We will also provide volunteers specifics for items and quantity to purchase. All purchased items may be reimbursed by the church. In addition to the meals that are provided, All Saints also gives out Thrivent shirts, cooling clothes, underwear, socks, hygiene kits, hand warmers and blankets throughout the year, seasonally.

Thank you in advance for your support of this hands-on service opportunity for our neighbors in Charleston. Adults and middle & high school youth are encouraged to volunteer.

We will meet at All Saints at 4 pm on the event Sunday to pack up the prepared food and then those serving will meet at 328 Meeting Street (Citadel Square Baptist Church—new location) to set-up, serve and clean-up afterwards.

Thank you for your support as we help our neighbors in this way!

Please signup to help purchase the food and/or serve by July 10 here
