Lutheran Disaster Response, Midwest Flooding

Heavy rainfall and rapid snow melt has resulted in historic flood levels across at least four states.  So far, hundreds of homes and businesses have been affected.  According to the US Army Corps of Engineers, 200 miles of levees have been compromised in Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin and Missouri.  Though the water is receding, more rain is anticipated, along with warmer weather that will melt snow and raise water levels further. Lutheran Disaster Response is working with synods and congregations in the impacted states to respond with immediate relief. Gifts to Lutheran Disaster Response for flood relief will be used in full (100%) to assist those affected until the response is complete.  Checks may be made payable to All Saints Lutheran Church for: Midwest Flooding. Our church treasurer will send the sum total of gifts for timely distribution, or you may give directly to Lutheran Disaster Response by visiting ELCA.org/disaster.
