We are so excited to offer a youth families retreat at Lutheridge, the long CCSD weekend in March! That Thursday, March 13, is an early release day, so our youth families would have an option to go up that evening and have all day Friday March 14, to explore & enjoy the Asheville/Pisgah Forest/etc. area before we would begin the planned retreat, Friday night after dinner.

Our middle school affirmation class students are already scheduled for Faith alive that weekend, so we would plan a similar retreat for our high school affirmation students on the same schedule. Both groups of students would work on an affirmation-themed lesson in their respective groups, throughout the day on Saturday, March 15, with camp-based activities interspersed.

Meanwhile, the parents could have a faith-based discussion on Saturday before fellowship activities in the Asheville/Pisgah area (TBD).

We would worship Sunday morning, March 16, at 10 & depart around 11.

Saturday & Sunday meals would be provided by Lutheridge. Middle school affirmation campers would be lodged with the rest of the Faith Alive campers, while the high school students and the parents would be lodged in the hotel-style accommodations at camp.

More details will be coming, but we wanted to ensure that both the middle and high school youth families had the dates saved to plan to join us. Parents do not have to attend in order for the middle or high school youth to participate, but we would love for as many as possble to join us!
