Worship Life

All Saints is an open and welcoming community of believers serving, learning and worshiping together in an upbeat Lutheran style. We’ve joked that our tagline should be: “Old Hymn. New values.” We are proof that a traditional congregation can break the stereotypes of old, outdated views. Come and see!

Music & The Arts

Music & The Arts are important to our community at All Saints! We explore our musical gifts through the Praise Ensemble and Worship Choir, All Saints Handbell Choir, and Children’s Music.

Visual and Performing arts are celebrated through rotating visual arts displays at the Coffee Bar, at our ArtSmart Performing Arts Summer Camp, and by hosting the Mt. Pleasant Artist Guild.

Flower Ministry

All Saints is blessed with talented individuals and teams who work diligently to design and implement flower arrangements for Sunday mornings as well as additional events throughout the year. The All Saints flower ministry has been invited to participate in the Fall Flower Festival at Grace Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston.

Youth & Family

The Youth and Family Life Team aims to provide programming that meets the spiritual needs of our youth and their families in a safe and supportive environment. This ministry recognizes that youth are called by the Holy Spirit through Word and Sacrament to full partnership in the community of faith. This ministry provides programs that offer Biblically-based, Christ-centered opportunities for learning, service, support, witness and worship. It aims to involve adults and youth from all parts of the congregation’s work in developing a planned program for children, youth and families.

Children (thru 5th grade)

Our Children’s Ministry encourages the building of community among children and parents. The philosophy is to share God’s love, and to grow in our awareness of God’s presence in our everyday life. All Saints offers many opportunities for families to participate in activities that help to grow their Christian faith as well as keep their promises made in Baptism.

Youth (6th -12th grade)

Our middle and high-school students gather on a monthly basis for fellowship, fun, food and faith-building activities! We encourage youth and their families to let us know what activities they would like to do together to build relationships and serve the Lord!

Service & Justice

All Saints and its members support numerous ministries through special offerings and volunteers hours.

Community Service

The Service Committee provides opportunities for the congregation to share their time, talent, and treasures within the local community in an effort to relieve suffering. This ministry coordinates parish activities and seeks to involve youth and adults in all areas of social concern. The ministry also recommends organizations to receive benevolence funds from the annual Ministry Vision Plan and from special gifts for that purpose.

The retreat experience is followed by participation in a Reunion Group for weekly encouragement and accountability.

Support Ministries

All Saints is an extremely active congregation for its size. We could not do what we do without the support of our Finance, Stewardship, Facilities and Endowment Teams and the countless volunteers that keep our church running smoothly!
