Church Council is excited to announce a new staffing model for All Saints! This model, which
was approved by Council in February, is the result of months of prayer, research and
conversation with the pastors, Mutual Ministry and the Finance chair. The purposes of the new
staff structure are:
to prepare for the retirement of our long-time Administrator Lisa Rebula in 2027
to address unmet needs in the areas of volunteerism and adult ministries
to further our 5-Year Priorities of Welcome, Community, Worship, and Youth & Children
to respond to new dynamics of the church in a changing world
The updated model includes both changing current staff members’ roles and adding new roles.
These changes will be made on a rolling basis, according to the timeline recommended by Mutual
Ministry and adopted by council. The first change we are excited to announce is the creation of a
new Congregational Life Coordinator position, which will be filled by our own Tricia
Finkenberg. The pastors and Council are grateful to Tricia for her willingness to step up into this
role, which will not only use her many spiritual gifts but also help tremendously with staff continuity
when Lisa retires.
The new Congregational Life Coordinator position combines some responsibilities currently
covered by our Administrator Lisa, some covered by the pastors, and some elements that are new to
staff. Among other things, this position will prioritize coordinating congregational events and
projects, church volunteers, adult ministries and small groups, and hosted community groups.
The congregation will have a special opportunity to recognize Tricia for her work with Youth &
Family Life as well as to install her in her new role on Sunday, June 7th at the 11:00 service. We are
grateful for the growth that has happened among our Youth and Family program over the past 14
years under Tricia’s leadership and we look forward to celebrating this new chapter in Tricia’s service
to the church!
The next staffing change in the approved timeline will occur with Pastor Ginger’s role. This
summer, she will begin to transition some of her time away from her pastoral duties and into Youth
and Young Adult Ministry. Pastor Ginger is very excited about this opportunity to return to an area
of ministry she has enjoyed in the past. More information about roles and responsibilities,
particularly in regards to Children & Youth will be shared in the coming weeks.
According to our congregation’s constitution, Council is authorized to implement staffing changes in
order to achieve the goals and mission of the church (All Saints Constitution & Bylaws 2024
C12.04 and C12.0). However, significant changes to the congregational spending plan should be
taken up by the congregation as a whole (C5.03). To that end, a special congregational meeting
may be called this summer to consider recommendations of the Finance team to carry out this new
staffing model.
Thank you for your prayers for our church leadership, for your trust in this process, and for
supporting our pastors and staff during this exciting time of growth and change. We believe that God
has great things in store for this next chapter of our congregation’s mission!
