All Saints financial position improved significantly during Q3 due to very strong contributions. There were several large contributions received during the Quarter. Contributions in Q3 totaled $215,000 bringing YTD contributions to $489,000 versus the MVP of $479,000. Total expenses YTD were $464,000 versus the MVP of $479,000. As a result the cash balance in our operating account increased from a very low level of $11,000 at the end of June to $70,000 at the end of September. We did make the last payment on our primary mortgage in July which is a significant milestone in the life of the church. We resumed contributions to the synod in August and September as our cash position improved, but we remain behind the MVP level for those contributions for the year due to the cash shortfall during the first half of the year.
The last three months of the year are very important in the financial life of the church. The annual stewardship campaign is in full swing. The results of this campaign are extremely important in guiding the Finance Committee and Council as we prepare the 2027 MVP for presentation to the congregation at the January annual meeting. Thank you for your continuing strong financial support of All Saints. We look forward to strong contributions continuing through Q4 and a robust response to the stewardship campaign, which will put us in a good position to expand the ministries of the church in 2027.
