We will offer a performing arts opportunity in preparation for Advent and Christmas for our 1st grade children and their 4 & 5 year old younger siblings. This weekly, evening arts workshop will include bells, drama, singing and visual arts rotations within age groupings. Middle and high school youth are encouraged to volunteer to help with the rotations.
The church will provide healthy snacks at 4:45 in the PLC, before all coming together for Opening time in the Sanctuary. This year, we are excited to share parents gifts in new ways in the weekly rotations. When the parents are not involved, Pastor Ginger will offer an adult time while the children rehearse. Children and adults will come together at 6:20 pm for prayers of gratitude around the Table in the Sanctuary before dismissal around 6:30 pm.
We plan to share the highlights on Dec 21st during the 11 am worship Prelude and Opening Hymn and on Christmas Eve during the 4 pm worship service. Although encouraged, children do not have to be present at the services in order to be a part of this performing arts opportunity.
