September 12 & 13
Churches from across the ELCA will be partnering with congregations in their local communities to provide numerous service projects.
This year, on Sat. Sep. 12th, we will be partnering with other local churches to build and decorate a Habitat for Humanity Playhouse for the children of Habitat homeowners and other families in need. This project is designed to teach children the pride and joy of homeownership, big and small! Each playhouse is a pre-cut kit that volunteers will assemble and paint. We will also need volunteers to bring lunch & refreshments out to the site.
We will also host several projects at All Saints on Sun. Sep. 13 in support of our veterans and other first responders through Operation Gratitude. Volunteers of all ages may create paracord lanyards, design appreciation cards and make encouraging videos to send to veterans. All materials will be provided.
