LSC is seeking adult mentors for children who are not in the care of their parents and lack immigration status. They are often placed in detention centers or other shelter-like facilities before being released to authorized sponsors in the Carolinas. Mentoring is the presence of a caring individual who provides support, advice, friendship, and trust. Interested in finding out more about this volunteer opportunity?
